AstroBot is a free-to-use, free-to-add music bot built for the Discord platform. No charges or otherwise external services are required to use the app. AstroBot is not professionally affiliated with Discord, nor with any of the platforms it may use to provide audio playback.

1. Any user is permitted to add AstroBot to any Discord guild (more commonly known as servers) and freely use its audio playback features. Attempts at intentionally slowing down the playback or service through malicious attacks with repeated requests to the bot that do not result in use of the service  may result in an account receiving a hindered playback state temporarily. This means that the user will still be able to play audio, but may experience greater wait times as requests are made, or more stuttering audio during playback. Users that deploy the service to play illegal or otherwise unethical content may be prohibited from using the service entirely. The AstroBot team reserves the right to blacklist any user from using the service if their use of the service is deemed harmful, unethical, or otherwise malicious.

2. Any user that knowingly and willingly adds AstroBot to their guild (server) and uses its provided features hereby accepts the terms and conditions listed here.

3. The AstroBot team is not responsible for the use of AstroBot to conduct illegal, unethical, or otherwise malicious actions. This includes the playback of illegally sourced audio files, breaches of copyright, or any other form of maliciously sourced audio. Any and all liability falls upon the user which would request the playback of these audio tracks.

4. The name AstroBot, AstroBot profile picture/photo, description, or any other form of media inherently related to AstroBot are under public domain and therefore not protected by copyright or trademark and may be freely redistributed as a user desires.

5. AstroBot does not collect any personal data pertaining to any user on the platform, including but not limited to their profile name, Discord username, profile photo, message content (excluding commands), "About Me," status, provided pronouns, or otherwise personal data. AstroBot may collect a history of command usage for the purposes of debugging, bug fixing, and insurances of smooth playback, but no personal user data, or guild (server) data, is collected. AstroBot may also collect the ID of a user who is suspected of malicious actions, but only for the purpose of providing lesser resources to that user in the event they are found guilty of such actions.

6. Non-compliance with the above listed terms may result in a lesser prioritized experience of AstroBot, where the user may experience slower response times, stuttering playback, or otherwise less functionality, or could result in the complete blacklisting of a user from the AstroBot service.
